The Rev Deck the new innovated graphite skateboard might not look the coolest but according to the company it's supposed to bring great results. The skate company has a FAQ's about the board at this link http://www.revdeck.com/faq.html and I guess pro TAS PAPPAS rides for the revolution this is his testimonial. http://www.revdeck.com/testimonials.html As for price goes you are looking around a 110 u.s bones. Price located at this site http://www.mtbz.com/revdeck/ THE Specs Street riding = 31 1/2" L , 8" W , 930 grams weight Vert riding = 32 1/2" L , 8 1/8" W , 985 grams weight - The boards are supposed to be a 1/2 pound lighter than wood decks.
- Stronger and more durable enabling it to last longer.
- Quicker response
- Easier to flip
- Increases pop
- Retains pop through out the life of the board
- Faster slides
- Weather proof
- Resists chipping
- Each has its own serial number I guess you don't have to worry about your friend stealing it
Below are a few picks of the bottom! Here is a nice shot of the rev deck being used for a dirt style skateboard. Sure these decks might be a bit better, but I think there is a bigger discussion at hand here. Were does the industry go from here? Do the normal wood boards get cheaper? There are many questions and I don't know the answers so I'm starting up this forum to figure it out. Check it out at this link. http://www.churf.com/BBoard/topics.cfm?forum=47&category=26
