It started getting colder and colder soon I was out of luck. I wanted to get my last day of skating in before the winter months. I was to late. So started to dust of my snowboard. I've been a couple of road trips to the mountains this year. The conditions were not so good. I was getting tired of snowboarding. I went to a local skate / snow shop in banff and got hooked up with a saphire snow skate. I was not sure if it was a wise purchase at first. But now I couldn't be happier. I took it up and wiped out a lot but once i got used to it you can really rip. By the end of the day I was doing great, but it was really hard on the legs. One of the cons is the leash you have to wear, but with out it I its possible to loose your board done the whole mountain. I'm going to have some pics and video's up soon!
