The Johnsons played at Allendale Hall on Saturday December 16th. We got there just to see about half of the set of the band who played before The Johnsons. I don’t know what their name was but they were pretty good. The best song they played was some California song. The people there were into this band more than The Johnsons, which is a shame because The Johnsons always put on a good show and half the people left when they were playing. I was hungover from the Coheed show the night before so I just felt like chillin and just observing the awesomeness that The Johnsons bring. Unfortunately everyone just wanted to do the same as me. Maybe they were hungover too. The Johnsons weren’t chillin at all; they full out rocked and didn’t give a fuck how many people were or weren’t there. They blazed through about an hour of songs like Gypsies For Life, MeatBot 3000, Mohawk Mo’ Problems, Part Time Party Machine, Tour Thousand One: A Rock Odyssey, It’s Hard To Be Sad When Your’re Rolling Around On Piles And Piles Of Cash, 250 Norse Power and some older ones. The Johnsons fuckin rule every time! I can’t wait for the next Johnsons show.
